It was a wild, wild weekend for our PeeWee 1 team

In Hooksett, NH the Storm tier II team went undefeated including a 5-3 win over Lakes Region in the final to earn the State Championship. The Storm came back twice (from deficits of 0-2 and 2-3) before ultimately sealing the victory. In the championship game the Storm was powered by two goals from Tyler Christian, three assists from Jack Clary, an assist each from Gwyn McGee and Cavan Benjamin, and momentum changing goals from Carter Simmons, Nolan Morlock, and Jackson Davies – who also tacked on a behind the back, cross seam pass to Christian for the final goal. Davey Bradley anchored the Storm in goal for all four games making several huge stops throughout the tournament. The Storm also received big contributions from Braelyn Park on defense and Jack Wilkinson, James Barnett and Logan Caffrey at wing. Owen Nichols, Maddox Castro, Nate Dube, and Nick Daniels provided depth and balance all weekend long.

Tier II was the highest competitive level of Granite State League hockey this year at the 12U age group. The Storm will look to build off their success when they travel to Hamm Arena in North Conway for the New England regional tournament to compete against the top teams in New England March 15-17.
