Congratulations to our two Travel Mite teams who competed in the Essex Yamboree over the weekend! Both groups had great success on Friday and went into Saturday poised for medal games. Each faced tough competition, but ultimately took the ice Saturday afternoon, side by side, for the championship and consolation games.
Not deterred from victory by a physical Milton team, the UVHA Gray clenched third place in a commendable display of sportsmanship under pressure. And UVHA Navy secured the championship title after a buzzer-beater goal to beat Hanover in what was a back-and-forth scoring battle.
Please congratulate the Storm's youngest competitors when you have the opportunity!
